Handmade with LOVE …………………… and a few tears and tantrums along the way!

We really can say that our cabins are ‘unique’ as they were lovingly hand built right here in our sculpture studio at Arcadia.

There were plenty of challenges along the way but with the right mind set and a fantastic team on hand, it’s amazing what can be achieved.

The interior of the cabin draws inspiration from its location at Drumbeg Farm, once a working farm and now home to Arcadia Glamping and Arcadia Sculpture Centre. The walls are decorated with found objects from bygone days and features some of Rob’s small sculpture maquettes. The rich, sumptuous fabrics and objets d’art were collected on our travels to the Middle East and the Far East, adding an exotic twist to the interior. 

The unique design of Elysium was inspired by the surrounding woodland and natural setting. Rob utilised mirrored stainless steel and sheet metal that was carefully patinated with leaves and grass to create a rich rust effect. Hand sculpted metal tubes were bent and manipulated to create a façade of sculpted metal branches that spread across the exterior like the canopy of a tree, organically enveloping the cabin.
